Before Your Wedding

The initial charge is $3,700.00 and includes the following :

1. Shore Acres Land Rental Fee

Electrical hook up to the tent.
Facilitating of all guest parking.
Bar set up/ break down.
All tables and equipment associated with the bar.

2. Susan’s Wedding Planning Services

Susan's expertise on all aspects of coordinating and facilitating your special event from the beginning to the end. We have exclusive arrangements with premier Vermont vendors who are the absolute best in their respective fields. We vouch for their reputation, their services and products. During Your Wedding

Susan and her qualified staff will be on site the day of your event. Susan will assist in all facets of your day. She will help decorate, orchestrate the wedding party and handle all vendors and financial issues. For an additional fee, you may hire Susan for as many services as you will require. She offers various packages to fit every budget.

Shore Acres will serve all the alcohol. We are partial to an open bar service which means that the wedding party pays for all alcohol. However we are flexible and if necessary we will provide a closed bar which means that the guests pay for their drinks.

We are flexible with the alcohol that is served: full service versus wine and beer.

Prices will depend on the kinds of wine, beer and liquor you decide to serve your guests. We charge $25.00 per hour for each bartender for the duration of the event. A 10% alcohol tax and a 10% service charge will be added to the alcohol served.

Vermont is very strict about their liquor laws therefore we are required to be strict also. Alcohol beverages other than those served by Shore Acres cannot be consumed in the public areas. This is a Vermont law and noncompliance of this law will force us to shut down the event.

What Is Not Included?

The professional staff at Shore Acres will provide their usual high caliber service to make every wedding or event a complete success. The services included are outlined on this website, including our wedding coordination services. The following are not included but will be handled by our wedding coordinator:

All Rentals (including linens)
Flowers and decor are an additional charge through Susan Thompson, our in-house florist. She will assist in your design and will create your wedding floral based on your requests and budget.
If an outdoor wedding and based on size of wedding party, our exclusive caterer will be hired, Dale Loeffler, Catering By Dale.
Other events taking place on our property (i.e. rehearsal dinner, brunches, etc) will be entitled to an additional facility fee for use.

Making A Reservation

Begin the process by contacting us to check availability. Wedding dates and the Inn's rooms book quickly each year with annual visitors so it is best to be proactive by checking with us as early as possible.
