Shore Acres Inn and Restaurant is located in the small, but beautiful state of Vermont in town of North Hero Island.
It is about 30 miles (50 kms) north from Burlington, Vermont and 60 miles (100kms) south of Montreal, Canada. Boston is 3 1/2 hours away and New York City about 6 hours by car. Burlington's International Airport (BTV) can be your gateway to Shore Acres as well with a large number of flights from major cities around the USA.
Even though Shore Acres is located on the island, it is easily reachable by car. Simply take exit number 17 from the Interstate I-89 to Lake Champlain Islands and drive about 20 to 30 minutes on the Route 2. After you cross the draw bridge, you are almost there. Shore Acres is just 3 short minutes away on the right-hand side of the road. You'll see our large sign, vast rolling grounds and the Lake Champlain right from the road - you can't miss it.
On the right side of this page you can see the detailed map of Lake Champlain Islands. You can see the North hero Island in the middle with Shore Acres Inn and Restaurant represented by the dot. lake Champlain Islands are located in the middle of Lake Champlain in northwestern Vermont.
You can get to Shore Acres from south as described above, but it is easy to get here from north as well.
